*SW means superwash
All yarns are dyed using acid dyes and citric acid (to reduce the aroma). All yarns are washed in a light soap bath to help rinse away excess dye. I use a special technique that reduces water consumption and allows me to recycle much of my water. As my pacific northwest weather allows I will use solar dyeing as much as possible to reduce energy consumption and as always yarn is dried in the cool breezes of Mt. Rainier.
Just like knitters, no two skeins are the same - even in a batch. Slight variations and depths of color should be expected. I do my best to limit the length of any color section to reduce the chance of pooling. Rarely do I repeat a colorway (but check back - I'll have repeatable colorways soon.) Please buy as much as you need to complete your project.
I can't think of anything else to share right now, if you have any questions please drop me a note anytime. I hope you love you yarns as much I had fun dyeing them. Enjoy!
